Off The Streets Club (“OTSC”), and all of its representatives, agents, employees, volunteers, and contractors are strongly committed to protecting your privacy online and have taken steps to protect the information you share with us. For example, we use encryption technology to safeguard your credit card data used in electronic commerce transactions. To help us protect your privacy, you should maintain the secrecy of the login ID and password you may have set up in connection with your participation in any service.
1. Applicability
This Statement applies to information we collect about individuals who interact with OTSC, such as through our website, www.offthestreetclub.com (our “Site”), applications, platforms, email, or in other ways (collectively, our “Systems”); at OTSC sponsored and affiliated events, business and marketing contacts; and visitors to our physical premises. This Statement does not apply to, and we do not control the privacy practices, of third-party sites that may be accessible through hyperlinks on our website, which have their own privacy statements. Linking to a third-party site does not mean that we endorse the site, any products or services described on the site, or any other material contained in that site.
Whenever you interact with OTSC or provide information to us on behalf of another individual or entity, such as by providing or accessing Personal Data about another individual, you represent that you have the authority to do so.
If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not access, use, or otherwise interact with our Systems. You can also exercise certain choices about how we handle your information in the Choices section below.
2. Sources and Categories of Personal Data, and How We Use It
OTSC is a non-profit organization committed to serving children in Chicago and the surrounding communities. We use data to advocate for the children and community in alignment with the mission statement of OTSC. Some personal information is gathered when you use our website and directly provide certain information in order to register to donate, volunteer, attend events, purchase OTSC products, or any other means in which you provide us with any Personal Data. We may also ask you for personal information at other times, for example when you complete a survey or form, or enter a sweepstakes, contest, or other promotion. The better we know you, the better we can tailor our services in alignment with our mission to spread Casual Joy. The purpose of such uses include, but are not limited to, fundraising, selling event tickets, eliciting volunteers and aiding the marketing efforts of OTSC.

Your Contact Information
Your Contact Information is used to provide information to you about OTSC events and news, educational programs, fundraising opportunities, ways to volunteer or participate with OTSC, OTSC media coverage, OTSC children, industry news, and other similar information that we think will be interesting or useful to you. Contact Information includes your name, address, phone number, email address, employer/company/organization name, and job title.
Your Payment History
Your Payment History is used for accounting and invoicing; tracking your OTSC involvement, sponsorship, registration, and other fee payments; and thanking you for your contributions and payments. We do not store your credit card information, and credit card payments are routed through payment card industry compliant third-party payment services.
In addition, we may also collect other technical information such as the type of browser you are using (e.g., Google Chrome, Internet Explorer), the type of operating system you are using (e.g., Windows or Mac OS), CPU type (e.g., Pentium Intel Core), your manner of connecting to the internet (e.g., connection speed through narrowband or broadband access); internet protocol address; other information about your geographic location; and/or the domain name of your internet service provider.
OTSC collects your information for the following additional purposes:

As such, this website will collect information consistent with the terms of Google’s Privacy Policy which could include but is not limited to the collection of device-specific information, log information, location information and cookie-related information as described in the Google Privacy Policy. Because this website is enabled with one or more add-on Google services, Google will have access to and may use Google Services Collected Information that is collected by this website and may use such information to improve Google’s services. OTSC will use such information, to the extent available such as by way of Google Analytics, to better adjust our marketing practices to better target information based on such information and usage.
6. Information About Children
OTSC does not intentionally collect information from children under 16 years of age, and children under age 16 should not submit any information to us. OTSC Systems are neither developed for, nor directed at, children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with information without parental consent, or a parent or guardian of a child contacts us through the contact information provided below, we will use reasonable efforts to delete the child’s information from our databases.
7. Security
OTSC will take reasonable security precautions to protect the Personal Data that we handle from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, disclosure, misuse, or alteration. We are committed to ensuring the privacy of your personal information and have established safeguards to help protect such information. For example, to protect your privacy, OTSC uses password protection through entities like PayPal, etc. to help verify authorized user identity before granting access anywhere your personal information is stored. All online monetary transactions are done on a secure server. This means that information entered on the transaction page is encrypted before transmission. Though we strive to ensure the security of your information on our systems, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable and data transmission over the internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
8. California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, you have the right to request access to the Personal Data we have about you. With certain legal exceptions and limitations, you also have the right to request that OTSC delete your Personal Data. You may exercise the following rights by emailing us at info@OTSC.org. Exercising these rights will not cause OTSC to treat you or the data we have about you in any manner prohibited by applicable law.

A. Affiliates and Subsidiaries
We may share your Personal Data within the OTSC family of organizations, including the Chicago Advertising Federation, which includes parents, corporate affiliates, subsidiaries, business units and other companies that share common ownership.
B. Service Providers
We may share your Personal Data with service providers working on behalf of OTSC for purposes such as activities related to fraud prevention, assisting with our internal business functions, or supporting our relationship with you. Examples include IT providers, professional advisors (such as accountants), software providers, fundraising third party entities we contract with, and service providers that process credit card transactions with our customers, and marketing providers.
C. For Legal, Security, and Safety purposes
We may share your Personal Data with third parties such as law enforcement or other government agencies to comply with the law or legal requirements, to enforce or apply our contracts and other agreements, and to protect our rights and the property or safety of OTSC, our users, or third parties.
D. Transaction Partners
If we, or some or all of our assets, are acquired by another entity, we will share your Personal Data with that entity.
